These images are obtained via flexible fiberoptic bronchoscopy as
examination of the lungs from the inside similar to a video camera.
Physicians are using these real-time images to assess airway patency.
If airway patency is not found it can be restored with various
technique including but not limited to electrocautery, cryotherapy,
argon plasma coagulation, photodynamic therapy or ballon dilatation
with stent placement.
The website is created and maintained by health care professionals
to share experience. The pictures are without any identification but
may not be used or reproduced without permission. Part of the goal is
to educate and give examples of current and future therapies provided
